A Weekend at South Coast Aerial Tournament ✨

This weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the South Coast Aerial Tournament with Sew Some More, showcasing my bespoke handmade costumes for aerialists and performers.

I set up a stall filled with 12 sample costumes in a range of styles and sizes, giving competitors and spectators the chance to see the quality, fit, and sparkle of my work up close. It was incredible meeting so many talented aerialists and hearing about their performances, costume ideas, and future routines.

Alongside displaying costumes, I also offered last-minute costume repairs throughout the event — helping performers feel competition-ready when small wardrobe emergencies popped up. From quick fixes to finishing touches, it was great to be able to support the community in real time.

To make the weekend even more fun, I ran a giveaway where visitors could donate £1 and join my mailing list for the chance to win a free custom costume. The response was amazing, and I’m so grateful to everyone who entered and stopped by to chat, the closing date is June 1st, so there is still time to enter!

Of course, no stall is complete without a little sweetness, so I also handed out free lollipops throughout the weekend — which definitely kept the energy high!

Attending the South Coast Aerial Tournament was such a valuable experience for Sew Some More. I loved connecting with performers, sharing my passion for costume design, and showing how bespoke costumes can help artists feel confident, comfortable, and performance-ready.
